Do NOT combine oral and injectable ED medications.

Keep the medication refrigerated

Have Phenylephrine on hand to reverse priapism (prolonged erection) if erection lasts longer than 3 hours.

If Phenylephrine is not available, chew 4 Pseudoephedrine (Sudafed) tablets and let them absorb under the tongue.

After 2 hours: Engage in gentle exercise, like a brisk walk or stair climbing. Apply and ice pack to the groin area to lessen blood flow and reduce pain

After 3 hours: Utilize the rescue medication, phenylephrine, as per the instructions on the phenylephrine vial to reverse the erection. This medication can be repeated according the directions on the pharmacy label. If phenylephrine does not resolve the erection after 30 minutes, proceed to the emergency room for further medical assistance.
